At our sanctuary, every meow matters. We’re home to cats who’ve been abandoned, injured, neglected, or simply left behind. Many arrive with urgent medical needs. Others have been deemed “unadoptable” elsewhere due to age, disability, or behavioral challenges. For them, we are the last safe place—and we take that responsibility seriously.

But here’s the truth: we can’t do it alone.

We rely on the kindness and generosity of people like you to keep our doors open and our cats cared for. And we believe that if we’re asking for your trust—and your donations—you deserve to know exactly where that money goes.

What Donations Cover (And Why They're Critical)

Our sanctuary runs on heart and hard work—but also on hard costs. Here’s a breakdown of our average monthly expenses:

🐾 Veterinary Care – 40%

Spay/neuter surgeries, vaccinations, bloodwork, dental cleanings, medications, emergency visits, and chronic care management for cats with diabetes, kidney disease, or mobility issues. Just one unexpected medical emergency can cost hundreds—or thousands.

Your donations ensure we never have to delay care for a cat in pain.

🐾 Food and Supplies – 25%

This includes high-quality cat food (including prescription diets), litter, bedding, cleaning supplies, feeding bowls, and grooming tools. We go through hundreds of pounds of food and dozens of bags of litter each month.

Your gifts feed hungry bellies and keep the sanctuary clean and safe.

🐾 Facility Costs – 15%

Electricity to power heaters and fans. Water for cleaning and hydration. Trash and pest control. We also need funds for repairs, maintenance, and sometimes upgrades to keep our space secure and sanitary.

Your donations keep the lights on and the environment healthy for our cats.

🐾 Enrichment and Comfort – 10%

We believe in caring for the whole cat—not just their body, but their mind and spirit. That means toys, climbing structures, scratching posts, cozy beds, and calming aids for shy or anxious cats.

Your support brings play, peace, and joy into their lives.

🐾 Outreach and Adoption Efforts – 5%

From printing adoption flyers to maintaining our website and managing our adoption events, a small part of our budget goes toward finding forever homes for those who are ready.
